PURPOSE:To give accurate information to the operating personnel and to enable sure judgement, by monitoring the misindication of instruments and informing the production of it to the operating personnel, if any failure takes place in the plant. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a device monitor for daily use 1, and the signal from an initial event storage device 2 which stores the pattern of status of each device, are fetched in an initial event indentifying device 3, the signals from the both are compared and the types of the initial event are decided. Further, the signal of the protection system device monitor 4 which monitors the state of device of the protection system operated to prevent the progress of the failure in response to the initial event and the signal from the failure state storage device 5 patternizing and storing the conditions to be taken by each protection system, are fetched by the status grasp device 6 to grasp the state. The process quantity to be the state is deduced by the process quantity operator 7, and this estimated process quantity and the process quantity of the process instrument 8 are compared at the instrument misindication and discrimination device 9, allowing to decide the misindication of the process instrument 8. |
