The conveyor consists of a support (3) for the trolleys (4) mounted onto the tracks (6) and mounted on the sole plate (9). The trolleys are drawn by an endless chain (5). Each of the trolleys has a flat plate (10) supported by two skids (11). The plate has two feet (12) supporting the bearing plate (14). The chain drive has a number of links fitted with intermediate elastic buffers longitudinally and laterally (30) to join the trolleys together. The conveyor is protected at the sides by box beams attached to the base plate (9).
