<p>An impact wrench comprises a housing (10; 50), a rotation motor (12; 54), an output shaft (16; 56), and an impact mechanism including an inertia drive member (11; 51) with an impact chamber (17; 53), a drive socket (13; 52) coupling the drive member (11; 51) to the motor (12; 54), and anvil (15; 55) formed integral with an output shaft (16; 56) extends into the impact chamber (17; 53), and a coupling means (14, -57, 58) arranged to transfer kinetic energy from the drive member (11; 51) to the anvil (15; 55), a lubricant provided in the impact chamber (17; 53), and a barrier forming cover element (23; 64) mounted on the drive member (11; 51) to seal off the impact chamber (17; 53) and prevent lubricant from being expelled from the impact chamber (17; 53) at rotation of the drive member (11; 51).</p> |
