AN AUTHENTICATION METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR MULTICAST AND BROADCAST SERVICE

A method for achieving MBS service authentication includes the following steps: the MBS server receives a MBS authentication request message transmitted by the user terminal, said request message comprising the security information for authenticating the user terminal identification legality; the MBS server checks whether it holds said security information itself; if the MBS server holds said security information, it authenticates whether this security information is legal; if the MBS server doesn't hold said security information, it transmits an authentication request to the AAA server or a third party authentication server to ask for said security information or ask whether the user terminal is a signed user and authenticate the user terminal identification legality. Accordingly, a device and system for MBS authentication are provided. Therefore the time of MBS authentication can be shortened, and illegal attacks can be prevented effectively.
