PURPOSE:To obtain an image of superior halftone quality free from black spots in case of a scanner system by which exposure of high illumination is carried out for a short time by adding a specified amount of nucleic acid bases to gelatin of a lith type photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide emulsion is prepared by adding nucleic acid bases by (4-12)X10<-6>mol in total to 1g of gelatin so that nucleic acid bases represented by formula I are contained by (4-8)X10<-6>mol. This superior photographic emulsion is used to manufacture a photographic original plate for printing composed of dots and lines of high contrast. This emulsion for a photosensitive material has high sensitivity especially to He-Ne laser beams and does not cause black spots, etc. |
