PURPOSE:To mold pipes of various diameters with a high accuracy without generating burrs by simply replacing a main body of a mold, by a method wherein a variety of mold main bodies each of which has ring parts capable of being tightly fitted to annular recesses formed in common annular parts are provided. CONSTITUTION:A rotary mold 1 is composed of the annular member 2, 3 constituting both ends and the main body 4 fitted between oppositely faced inside surfaces of the members 2, 3. The oppositely faced surfaces of the members 2, 3 are provided with the annular recesses 21, 22 while both ends of the main body 4 are provided with outwardly projecting ring parts 23, 24 integrally therewith. The ring parts, 23, 24 are capable of being tightly fitted into the recesses 21, 22, and in said condition they are integrated with the main body 4 by fixing means 25, 26 provided at three positions along the circumference thereof. When the main bodies 4 of various kinds of molding surfaces are provided and the ring parts 23, 24 are standardized, accuracy can be secured irrespectively of the kind of the main body 4 used and maintenance can be facilitated, leading to a reduction in cost. |
