PURPOSE:To provide a desensitizer composition which reduces the function of a developer on a portion of a sheet where recording is not necessary and eliminates fouling on a nonprinted part containing an adduct of an amide compound with a specified alkylene oxide as a desensitizer component. CONSTITUTION:An adduct of an amide compound of the formula R-CONH2 (wherein R is amino, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl) with an alkylene oxide containing at least 40mol% butylene oxide [e.g., formulae I and II (wherein BO represents oxybutylene; EO oxyethylene; PO oxypropylene)] is used as a desensitizer component, preferably at a rate of 15-50wt%. |
