<p>PURPOSE:To prevent noises from a magnetron from coming out of a speaker except during the synthesization of the sounds in an arrangment in which an operation order, a heating condition or the like is informed through an intermediary of sound, by a method wherein an input signal to an amplifier is made effective only when the sounds are synthesized. CONSTITUTION:An electronic range has a control means 9 which controls the essential part of its operation, and an operation section 6 having display and input functions, a sound synthesizing means 10 and a driving circuit 4 for the magnetron 2 are connected to the control means 9. The sound synthesizing means 10 has a semiconductor memory which stores data for synthesizing predetermined sounds and generates a sound signal A0 and a busy signal (or a signal indicating ''during sound systhesization''), respectively, after synthesizing the pedetermined sounds in response to a command from the control means 9. In this case, there is provided an amplifier input control means 12 operating such that when the BUSY signal is present, it goes OFF and when the signal is absent, it goes ON so that the amplifier 11 is held connected only during the synthesization of the sounds.</p> |
