PURPOSE:To enable transfer paper to be surely fixed and held by opening the body part of a cylindrical frame body which is opened on one side face, forming both end parts thereof into a ring shape and providing a connecting part connecting the ring-shaped cylindrical parts. CONSTITUTION:A corona discharger 10 and a coil-like paper supporting body 11 are inserted in a cylindrical frame body 8 and are fixed to side plates. The body 11 prevents paper 12 from dropping into a drum 1 when the paper 12 is wound on the frame body 8. Since in this way the body part of the frame body 8 is opened except its paper clamping position 8A, this results in that the part to be transferred to images of the paper wound on the frame body 8 comes to the transfer position where the frame body 8 and the drum 1 oppose to each other, and that the corona discharger 10 for transfer positions directly on the back surface of the paper. Hence, the electric field by the corona discharging acts effectively, thereby improving transfer efficiency. In addition, the unclamped part of the paper 12 is successively sealed with the drum 1 by electrostatic effect, whereby the occurrence of position deviation is prevented. |
