PURPOSE:To provide the captioned print head which has high magnetic efficiency, can obtain a powerful magnetic flux and also can be driven with a small amount of electric current by providing a magnetic channel structure consisting of a magnetic channel formed in a plane circumferential-shaped closed loop. CONSTITUTION:The same number of first permanent magnets 12 with the respective numbers of transmission members 1 and movable coils 11 are almost concentrically arranged in a circumferential shape on the same plane and at the same central angle. Then they are magnetized in the same direction along their circumferential arrangement direction. The second permanent magnets are arranged in parallel below the first permanent magnets in the same arrangement fashion with an interval D. In addition, the first magnetic channel clearance 15 and the second magnetic channel clearance 19 are formed at an interval (d) among yokes of magnetic material 13, 14, 17, 18 fixed at the both sides of the permanent magnets respectively. Following this procedure, a drive pulse current is applied to the movable coils arranged inserted in such manner that said application may take place vertically below and above the surface of a paper in the straight line parts 11a, 11b. Then the both straight line parts 11a, 11b receive a displacement force in accordance with the Fleming's left-hand rule. |
