<p>A pallet is made as two flat arrays of thick slats joined by spacers made from superimposed slats. The width, length and depth of the pallet and the positions of the intermediate supports are readily modified if suitable fasteners are used for the assembly. Allows pallets to be made to suit various standard sizes or lifting fork formats from lengths of a common profile. Pref. the slats have a length/thickness ratio in the range 20-150:1, opt. are made of wood or an extruded plastic profile, specifically of ABS or PVC. 10pp.</p> |
