<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being damaged due to the looseness of the tape by providing the titled device with a tape supporting face set up along the lower side of a lead of a fixed cylinder forming the lead and provided with a rotary cylinder having a magnetic head on its upper part and a protection member having a projection part to be inserted into a space formed on the rear face side of the tape in a cassette half. CONSTITUTION:The supporting face 6a of a protection body 6 is formed along the lower side of the lead 1a of the fixed cylinder 1 and a projection chip 6b to be inserted into a notch on the rear face side of the tape A1 in the cassette half A is formed on the protection body 6. When the winding of the tape A1 around both the cylinders 1, 2 based upon a guide roll 4 is loosened or when the tape A1 is loosened because of temporary stop during reproducing, the tape A1 can be prevented from being sagged by supporting the lower side of the tape A1 by the supporting part 6a of the protection body 6. Consequently, the tape can be prevented from generating a damage which may be generated by the abutting of the tape A1 upon the lead 1a due to the looseness of the tape.</p> |
