The device provides a clear signal and recognises the dashes together with inter letter and inter word spaces using an integrator and comparator. The circuit creates a partic. code which allows use of a logic process adapted to the partic. type of code, and uses a discriminating bit to create a series base code. The parallel transformation necessary to use an ASCJI code of the type is effected by a shift register whose outputs serve to address a buffer memory and whose output programme is a function of the chosen codes. Resetting of the register is effected by recognition of spaces which are counted in a counter (19). The device is adapted to decode radionavigation signals and includes a galvanometer monitoring received signal level. The device automatically adapts to signals transmitted by radio compass beacons using a monostable to reset the register, suppressing the first signal and another monostable lengthening spaces where pulse switching is controlled by an integrator which provides an arming voltage after several seconds of continuous modulation.
