PURPOSE:To correct the number of insufficient copying sheets by providing a manual insertion mechanism to a sorter, and shifting the contents of a sorter counter to a copying sheet number controlling counter on condition of the detection signal of a manual insertion detecting part. CONSTITUTION:A sorter 11 which sorts and houses the copied paper 4 ejected from the body of the copying machine is mounted to this body 1. A coying sheet number controlling counter 18 which is controlled by the number of sheets having been preset and allows copying by each of this preset sheet number to be carried out and a sorter counter 23 which counts the number of sheets of the paper 4 housed in the sorter 11 are provided. A manual insertion mechanism 13 which conveys the paper 4 into the sorter 11 without passing through the body 1 is provided and a set switch 14 which is a manual insertion detecting part detecting the carry-in of the paper 4 by this mechanism 13 is provided, so that the contents of the sorter counter 23 are shifted into the counter 18 when a detection signal is produced from this switch 14. |
