PURPOSE:To eliminate wasting of reagent and to prevent the reagent and specimen from being diluted by other solution, by filling a syringe and a tube with a different solution from a solution to be distilled and conducting inhaling and exhaling motions of the syringe. CONSTITUTION:When an arm 9 for a reagent probe descends in a reagent bottle A1 and a plunger 10 of a distilling syringe 5 is moved downwardly by a plunger- lifting mechanism 11, a constant volume of a solution A2 is inhaled into a reagent probe 8. When the reagent probe 8 moved into a reaction container 12 and the plunger 10 of the distilling syringe 5 moved upwardly, a constant volume of the solution A is exhaled into the reaction container 12. On the other hand, a tube 7 and the distilling syringe 5 are filled with a solution B4 contained in a reagent bottle 3, and when the solution A is being distilled, a switching valve 6 is connected in the direction where passages of the reagent probe 8 and the distilling syringe 5 are connected. It is possible, by doing so, to improve accuracy of distillation as compared with the process of utilizing air for conduction of motion. |
