PURPOSE:To minimize heat effect, perform curing in a brief period of time thus improving the surfacial strength and durability of an obtained decorative item by applying a ourable resin by the crosslinking effect of ultraviolet rays after applying a pattern on the surface of a base material deposited with a metal and then irradiating ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:A metal is deposited with a metal by means of vacuum evaporation, etc. on the surface of a base material consisting of synthetic resin, etc. through the intermediary of a base coat of alkyd-group resin. In addition, on the metal- evaporated surface, a pattern is applied using hot stamp foil, etc. through the medium of a colored top coat of acrylic resin. After said process, an ultraviolet curing- type resin such as of acrylic group is applied on the surface of said pattern and then ultraviolet rays are irradiated on it for curing purpose. |
