Method for determination of minimal retarded concentration of gas fire-suppression substance that includes sequential preparation in preliminarily evacuated testing chamber of series of mixes with different quantitative composition of burning substance, oxidizer and gas fire suppression substance by partial pressures of components, activation of ignition source in testing chamber, registration of fact of presence or absence of flame propagation in each mix and determination by set of data obtained of minimal concentration of gas fire suppression substance at which in its mixes with burning mix and oxidizer flame is not propagated at any ratio of burning substance and oxidizer in those.
