PURPOSE:To make it possible to improve resolving capacity to one-third of operating pulse width and increase signal detecting efficiency, by providing intermediate frequency circuits, whose frequency cycle is one-third of transmission pulse width and also a signal compounding unit, etc. equipped with particular delay circuits. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate frequency circuits 25-27, cycle of which is a time corresponding to one-third of transmission pulse width, is provided. And, delay circuits, which have delay time for five wave lengths provided with taps 33-42 every half wave length of this intermediate frequency, and a signal compounding unit 28, which compounds an output from the first compounding circuit compounding outputs of taps numbered 1, 4, 6, 8 and 9 with an output from the second compounding circuit which compounds and inverts outputs of taps numbered 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 are also provided. The aforementioned circuits 25-28 constitute a wave detector 22, and an output from the wave detector is amplified by a video amplfier 23. It is possible, by doing so, to improve resolving capacity to one-third of the operating pulse width using a conventional radar's standard system and also to increase signal detecting efficiency. |
