<p>Multichannel hollow extruded sheet profiles are used horizontally and/or on edge to act as support and/or for circulation of a heating fluid, esp. suitable for use in greenhouses. More efficient than use of solid structures warmed by separate heating systems in the form of adjacent pipework. Pref. the sheet profiles are supported on hollow rails and solid insulating blocks. Claims include use of profiles made of rigid PVC and/or chlorinated PVA, acrylic polymers or ABS, for resistance to warmth (30-95 deg.C), light, damp, mould, disinfectants and antifouling fluids. The circulation pattern should be balanced, to avoid wrapping induced by differential thermal expansion effects.</p> |
