<p>PURPOSE:To perform insertion of paper easily by retreating a feed roller up to the standby position upon stopping of a driving source after conveying of copying paper by the rotating force having been stored in the previous operation. CONSTITUTION:Feed rollers 23, 15 for rectilinear feeding and diagonal feeding are provided to a feed roller driving shaft 7 which interlocks to a driving source 5 by way of a driving system. An oscillating shaft 12 which is freely oscillatable in the insertion conveyance direction of paper 2 is provided via a universal joint 24 to the end part of the shaft 7, and the end of the shaft 12 is provided with the feed roller 15 for diagonal feeding which conveys the paper 2 in contact therewith. A spring means which stores rotating force is provided to part of the driving system, and the shaft 7 is revolved reverse upon stopping of the driving system by the rotating force having been accumulated in this spring means, so that the feed roller 15 at the end of the shaft 12 is retreated from the paper conveyance position B to the standby position A.</p> |
