PURPOSE:The titled lubricant that is prepared by using a purified mineral oil with a specific viscosity as a base and adding specified amounts of a polyamine derived from an oil-soluble polyolefin and a specific antioxidant, thus permitting the disposal of sticky substance formed while employed and preventing the formation of foams and rusts, especially being used for turbines suitably. CONSTITUTION:A purified mineral oil with a dynamic viscosity of 10-10,000cst at 40 deg.C and a viscosity index of higher than 80 is used as a base and combined with (A) 0.003-3.0wt% of a polyamine bearing one or more alkyl groups that is derived from an oil-soluble polyolefin of 300-10,000 average molecular weight or a 6-30C olefin and (B) 0.01-3.0% of an antioxdant composed of an aromatic amine and/or an alkylphenol to give the objective lubricant. Suitable examples as component A are diethylenetriamine, triethylenetetramine or tetraethylenepentamine and as component B are 4,4'-methylenebis(2,6-di-t-butylphenol, 2,6-di-t-butyl-p-phenol) and others. |
