<p>The nozzle-type stabilising fin is primarily designed for use on surfboards. It comprises a convergent nozzle (1,2) with a profile which is substantially lower than that of a conventional fin and a dorsal connecting-plate (3) which is modified as necessary to fit the various board layouts. The device can also be used for sailing boats, where it is embodied in the rudder to improve manoeuvrability under all sailing conditions.</p>
