<p>The conveyor comprises an endless conveyor belt (1) which runs around rollers (2) and may run over a tensioning roller (3). At least one roller is carried in a swivel bearing, which is movable in response to the movement (12) of a belt edge feeler (5) to prevent the belt from running-off. The feeler is a lever whose movement rotates a rod (7) about its centre line (9), carried in a fixed bush (8) with inclined end face (11). The rod carries a bush with oppositely inclined face (10) so that its rotation causes axial rod movement which provides the correction movement for the bearing.</p> |
