<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a keyboard device and enhance the reliability of its performance by arranging on a support plate a consolidated membrane sheet which stretches over a flat keyboard part and a button keyboard part, and by furnishing a notch in the part mating with a step and a protection sheet covering the notch from the front. CONSTITUTION:A step 8 is provided in the middle between the support plates 6, 7 of a flat keyboard part 2 and a button keyboard part 3 so as to forming them consolidated in a single piece, and a notch is provided in the part mating with this step 8, so that it is easy to bend and affix. Thus the construction is simplified and the cost suppressed. The notch 11 formed in a membrane sheet 9 is covered completely with a protective sheet 19, and that portion of membrane sheet 9 on the flat keyboard side covered with the same sheet 19, and the notch 11 and its peripheral part 20 are affixed to support plates 5, 6. This accomplishes certain waterproof and enhances the reliability.</p> |
