PURPOSE:To record discrimination information outside the picture information area of a receiving paper at the receiving side, by placing a cylindrical roller having the discrimination information, and a belt at the read position, and rotating the roller in the exposure part. CONSTITUTION:When the front end of an original 1 reaches the original detection sensor 12, it is detected and READ on the photoelectric conversion element 10 is started by both the sensor and the input signal which is decided by the mode switch. That which exists on the exposure part when the front end of the original 1 has reached the sensor 12 is discrimination information on the roller 5 which is placed in advance at this position, and this information is read into the conversion element 10. Until the rear end of the original 1 passes through the exposure part, the picture information on the original 1 is read by the element 10, and this original image is transmitted. |
