<p>The roller skates have rollers (13,14) which may be locked against turning, by a unit (19) that is independent of the skates. The unit consists of a base, on which the rollers engage. The base may be removably fastened to the skates, and permits the user to walk with the skates, without turning the rollers. The base is fastened via clamps (21) which engage around collars (22) which fit on the rollers.</p> |
