A thermal insulation profile has two limbs (2,3) connected by insulating cross-pieces (4) fitting into undercut channels (5,6,7,8). The outer material consists of the two limbs, connecting base cross-piece, and an undercut channel on each side; a first insulating cross-member is formed by pouring cast resin on the base and channels and curing, a floor for further cast resin is inserted up to the second undercut channels, and a second infill is cast on top and into the second channels; the connecting base is then removed. After the first pour, the space between the limbs is filled with an insulating block and the second cast resin is poured on top of this. The casting resin is foaming type. Foaming can take place along the length and therefore without densification and consequent loss of insulation value.
|
