<p>Suspensions of water soluble polymers are disclosed comprising 20 to 40% of a solid particulate water soluble polymer, 0.2 to 1% of an alcohol soluble thickener, 60 to 80% by weight of an organic liquid nonsolvent suspending medium and 0 to 5% of a surfactant. When added to water or aqueous salt solutions, these suspensions provide ready dispersibility of the polymer, followed by rapid dissolution and viscosity build-up.</p> |
