The insulating layer is for a floating floor, being formed by a single layer of insulating mortar. The lower part(4) of this layer is elastic, while the upper one(3) is hard or relatively so. Cement can be used as the binding agent in the mortar, and between the mortar and the supporting surface (6), which is typically of concrete, a product can be applied of characteristics such that hardening of the mortar for a predetermined thickness is prevented. |
