PURPOSE:To retionalize construction and assembly of a tube, by both constituting its envelope from a panel, ceramic shadow mask mounting frame and funnel and integrally forming a surplus electron beam shielding plate to the shadow mask mounting frame. CONSTITUTION:An envelope 1 is divided into three parts and constituted by a panel 2, shadow mask mounting frame 11 and funnel 4. The shadow mask mounting frame 11 is formed by ceramics to both form a surplus electron beam shielding plate 11a as an integral unit and fix a shadow mask 3. In this way, positioning relation between the panel and the shadow mask can be correctly obtained to further integrally form the surplus electron beam shielding plate, thus construction and assembly of a tube can be rationalized. |
