A motor is provided to improve efficiency thereof in a normal operation by changing a capacitor and implementing a synchronous speed operation in the normal operation. A motor includes a rotor. The rotor has a rotor core(123), a plurality of conductor bars, magnets, and end rings. The conductor bars are formed on an outer ring inside the rotor core in a circumferential direction to generate induced current. The magnets are formed inside the rotor core to generate magnetic flux and magnetic torque. The end rings are formed at upper and lower parts of the rotor core without interference with the magnets and short-circuited with the conductor bars. The motor further includes flux barriers(140) formed inside the rotor core to interfere the magnetic flux and generate reluctance torque.
