PURPOSE:To simplify programs and to reduce the overall load of a computer system by starting plural types of terminal emulator programs on a multi- function terminal equipment so that these emulator programs can be produced separately for each purpose of applications. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal emulator programs 9a or 9b is started, a terminal state transmission means 7 transmits the terminal state information. A terminal state detecting means 4 detects the start of a multi-function terminal equipment 2 from said terminal start information. Then a terminal emulator identifying instruction transmission means 12 sends an identifying instruction to the equipment 2. Thus a terminal identifying code transmission means 11 sends a terminal identifying code to an electronic computer device 1. Then a terminal state informing means 13 delivers the information to start the program 6a or 6b in response to said terminal identifying code. In such a way, data are transferred between the device 1 and the equipment 2. |
