PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the brightness of a superimposed region in a multi-projection system. SOLUTION: The multi-projection system for projecting projection images from projectors PJ1 and PJ2 onto a screen SCR so as to form the superimposed region in a part of the projection images projected from the adjacent projectors PJ1 and PJ2 includes: light shielding plates S1 and S2 as optical light shielding apparatuses set so as to adjust the brightness of the superimposed region for a prescribed amount; and an image processor 101 capable of setting the degree of the brightness adjustment of the superimposed region corresponding to a brightness adjustment state by the light shielding plates S1 and S2 and executing the brightness adjustment based on the set degree of the brightness adjustment.
