PURPOSE:To shorten the required time of editing operation greatly by reducing it to one-several of the total time, by automating the detection of editing point of a temporaily edited tape and the detection and recording of information on the editing points. CONSTITUTION:To detect an editing point for the automatic discrimination of the discontinuous point of successively detected time codes on temporarily edited tape 21, time codes to two adjacent frames delayed successively by an frame interval are supplied to editing-point processing unit 30. At the beginning of an operation to make punch-card operation, the time code detected firstly after the start of the successive run of temporarily edited tape 21 is considered to express information on the editing point at the starting point of editing and counter 32 is set to the numeral of the editing-point time code as its initial value and then driven with a clock pulse from synchronizing signal detector 31 every time a time code is detected; and increasing successive count outputs are supplied to comparators 23, 25, 27, and 29, while corresponding to numerals of time codes on tape 21, which collate values of comparators with numerals of time codes as supplied detection outputs. |
