PURPOSE:To suitably change the distribution ratio of an optical distributor for optical fibers by providing filters of respectively different transmittances in the plural grooves provided on the circumference of cylindrical optical glass. CONSTITUTION:Filters 18a-18d of respectively different transmittances are provided in the specified grooves out of the grooves 17a-17b provided on the circumference of cylindrical optical glass 15. The signal light from an optical fiber 1 is given to the groove 17b having the filter 18a through a rod lens 4 and is bisected to reflected light and transmitted light. Thence, one thereof is coupled to an optical fiber 2 via a rod lens 5 and the other to an optical fiber 3 via the groove 17g and rod lens 6, respectively. When the filter is changed from the filter 18a to 18b rotating the optical glass 15, the power ratio of the reflected light and the transmitted light changes. In this way, the distribution ratio is changed suitably. |
