PURPOSE:To manufacture at a high yield the titled magnetic head having excellent insulation without spoiling magnetic characteristics, by adhesively winding the winding part of a core with a thin plastic film and by winding a reading/wrting coil around it. CONSTITUTION:When the coil of a magnetic head for reading and writing magnetic recording information in a magnetic disk device is wound, the winding part of ferrite core 1 is wound with plastic film 2 to <=50mum thickness and the film is thermally contracted to adhere to the winding part. Around the film, reading/writing coil 3 is wound. Thus, lightweight insulating coating 2 is formed around core 1 having low specific resistance, high hardness and a sharp edge and coating 2 is tightly adhered to core 1, so that the magnetic head having excellent insulating can be manufactured without spoiling the magnetic characteristics. |
