<p>In a control and display device of a computer-controlled railway signalling system with visual data display devices for presenting information in a failsafe manner, the control operations do not take place via keys or the like but rather directly on the screen, for example by touch. In order to actuate the visual data display devices (M1), at least two computers (R1, R2) are present which prepare the information in such a way that a valid image is presented on a visual data display device only if the results of in each case two or more computers coincide or complement each other. As a complement to the visual data display devices which can only represent selectable sub-areas, video projectors (P1, P2) are provided which provide an overall image of the entire controlled area. <IMAGE></p> |
