摘要 PURPOSE:To control the temp. of a sheet of a continuous heating furnace to optimum temp. by detecting sheet passage speed, strip thickness, sheet temp. at the furnace inlet and furnace temp. in said furnace. CONSTITUTION:At the time when a strip 2 passes a heating furnace 1, the sheet temp. T1 is measured with a furnace inlet thermometer 16, and is putted to a control parameter operating device 15. Also, the furnace temp. Tg measured with a furnace thermometer 10, the sheet passage speed V measured with a speed detector 6, and the sheet thickness H and width W during passing are inputted to the device 15, which in turn calculates an estimated outlet temp. T0. This calculation is carried out twice. Namely, in the first time, it is calculated by the furnace inlet sheet temp. T1, the furnace temp. Tg, the strip gage H and width W, a speed reference value S2 and in the 2nd time, the estimated outlet sheet temp. T0' is calculated by using not the actual speed reference value S2 but the passage speed S2-DELTAV by assuming that the speed is slightly changed from the reference value S2. Thereby, a control gain K and integral constant T1 are outputted to a sheet temp. control device 8, and the sheet temp. is thus controlled.
