A contact pin for connecting an electrical conductor is configured with a shaft 1 of primarily circular cross section, and the shaft has a number of bulges 2 placed opposite each other in pairs, with a shape such that a cross section through the shaft and the bulges has an oval shape. The contact pin is partially configured as a tube 6 for securing of an electrical conductor. A connection between an electrical conductor 19 and a gutter-shaped busbar is configured with a connection piece 14 straddling the gutter 11 of the busbar and with the contact pin introduced through the contact piece 14 and inside the gutter. The contact pin is twisted so that its bulges 2 are pressed against the insides of the gutter. The electrical conductor 19 is firmly clamped in the tube 6 of the contact pin. The connection piece 14 itself is held at the busbar by hooks 15, 16, engaging with the edges of the gutter. The connection piece 14 can be made of electrically conducting material. The contact pin is configured with a collar 3 and this is configured with a tip 5 which is designed, in concert with banks 21 on the connection piece 14, to check the twisting of the contact pin in such a position that its bulges 2 are pressed against the insides of the gutter. <IMAGE> |
