The device has a test stand (10) arranged in an oil field for testing an eccentric screw pump under operating conditions with oil. The test stand has a controller (12) that simulates oil pressure in the eccentric screw pump based on pressure in a borehole. The test stand has an oil reservoir (42) provided with a heater/cooler that warms up/cools the oil to temperature. A feed tank (38) is inserted upstream to the oil reservoir, and is inserted between filters (40).
