PURPOSE:To improve the function of a linear motor without increasing the secondary side of the motor and to facilitate the connection to other member by containing a position detecting circuit including a position detector in a hollow section of a secondary side frame coil and molding the entire secondary side with plastic. CONSTITUTION:A position detecting circuit 5 including a position detector 6 is contained in a center of a rectangular frame coil 4 in such a manner that the entirety becomes long plate shape. This is molded with plastic 7 as a secondary moving element, and confronted with a stator formed of a recess iron plate 1 and a magnet 2. Thus, the position can be accurately detected without increasing the secondary side moving element, suitably energized to improve the function, and since it is molded with plastic, it can readily carry an article to be conveyed, and a moving element of arbitrary length can also be obtained by associating a plurality of the elements. |
