PURPOSE:To obtain a cylindrical coil having high winding density preferable balance by disposing a cylindrical core in a hollow section of the cylindrical core, specifying both upper and lower ends in a mold, then applying pressing force toward the center from the outer periphery of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical core 4 is inserted into the hollow section of a cylindrical coil 2 formed by winding a circular sectional coil strand 1 in a cylindrical shape. Molds 6 are disposed at the upper and the lower ends of the cylindrical coil 2 to specify the ends, and a central pressing force P is applied thereto from the outer periphery with arcuate molds 7 divided into plural segments. Thereafter, the molds 7 are once opened, the coil 2 is turned at a proper angle, again pressed with the molds 7, and the steps are repeated in this sequence several times. Thus, the section of the coil strand 1 is deformed in rectangular shape to increase the winding density, and the efficiency can be thus improved. Since the end face becomes flat, the balance can be improved. |
