PURPOSE:To avoid the interference of a filter at interrupting time with interrupting current by connecting the filter to the input side of a thyristor converter at continuously energizing time only. CONSTITUTION:While the rotating speed of a synchronous motor 1 is low and the commutation of a thyristor rectifier 24 is impossible with the induced voltage, a thyristor rectifier 22 is controlled to interrupt the current for the commutation. In the meantime, a switch 4 is opened, and the filter 3 is disconnected. After the rotating speed of the motor is raised and the commutation of the rectifier 24 becomes possible with the induced voltage, a current is once interrupted, the switch 4 is closed to connect the filter 3, and switched to continuous energization. |
