<p>The connector is between the actuating lever and brake cable of a racing bicycle. The point of attachment of the cable (5), the axis of rotation (F) of the lever (9) and the point (P) at which the force is applied to the latter are all in line. The point of application of the resistance (R) is very close to the axis of rotation. There can be a small window (44) in the lever, through which the cable head (8) is passed clear of the seat (10), to allow rapid lever replacement.</p> |
