<p>The coupling is used between the longitudinally reciprocating output slide (14) and the blade (21) of a motorised butcher's knife, to aid blade interchange, and incorporates a closure sprung (30) lever bolt (26). A block (17) is built onto the slide, using a fulcrum pin (25) to secure the bolt (26) in the groove (17A), using a groove (17B) to house the edge of a blade (21) end shoe (23), and using a blind bore (18) to receive the shoe dowel (22). The lever uses a hook (31) to engage the staple notch (33) in the top aft corner of the shoe (23), and reciprocal ramped faces (32,33) may promote automatic sliding engagement. Downward pressure is applied to the tail (26A) of lever (26) for release.</p> |
