PURPOSE:To avoid rays or runs of a lining material during a coating period, by coating a substrate with a composition containing an unsaturated polyester resin or a vinyl ester resin, glass flakes or fibers, a radical polymerization initiator and a photosensitizer. CONSTITUTION:A substrate is coated with a composition containing an unsaturated polyester resin or a vinyl ester resin, glass flakes or fibers, a radical polymerization initiator and a photosensitizer. The composition is then cured by the light irradiation, to make a lined article. The glass flakes are those having a thickness of about 3mu and a diameter of 0.4-3mm., prepared from alkali-free glass. The radical polymerization initiator may be a perester compound, a diacyl peroxide compound, etc. The photosensitizer may be benzoin, benzoin ethyl ether, etc. |
