ALARM DEVICE FOR AN ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANER

An electric vacuum cleaner in which, when the suction load to a fan motor (3) exceeds a predetermined value, the external air is drawn bypassing a filter (8) and simultaneously generating an alarm sound. Generating and stopping the alarm sound can be performed without direct effects upon the drawing of bypass air to the fan motor (3), which makes the vacuum cleaner more convenient to use and prevents burning out of the fan motor (3).
