Textile processing steam monitor - uses monitors for process and pure steam to register gas in the steam

There are sensors (11,15) which monitor simultaneously the temp. of the saturated steam and a pure gas-free steam, both at the same pressure. The sensors are linked to a unit (24) which can establish the value of the difference between the two measurements to be shown on an indicator (26). Designed to give a continuous measurement of the presence of low proportions (1-5 per cent)of air and other gas in steam in a textile processing unit, the system detects uncondensed gas in the mixture at normal, high or low pressures.
