PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly of a heat exchanging unit and the work for fitting the same by a method wherein a pair of shutdown plates shutting down both sides of a space between a pair of heat exchaning elements are provided with a pair of cut holes opened from the lower part of the shutdown plates toward the upper- end surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cut holes 20 having flange parts 20a with screw insertion holes 200a, which are opened from the lower part of the shutdown plates toward the upper-end surface thereof, are provided in a pair of shutdown plates 19 shutting down both sides of the space between the heat exchanging elements 18 having tubular plate flanges 180b with a pair of screw insertion holes 181b. The parts of the tubular plates 18b of the heat exchanging elements 18 are inserted from above into the cut holes 20 of the shutdown plates 19 along the cut holes 20, later the respective flange parts 180b and 20a are overlapped and fitting screws 21 are inserted into and tightend to the screw insertion holes 181b and 200a. Then each of the heat exchanging elements 18 is assembled in one body in the state that they are supported by the shutdown plates 19. By this constiutition, the work for inserting the heat exchanging elements 18 into the shutdown plates 19 is facilitated and thus the work for assembling the heat exchanging unit can be simplified. |
