Roll=over frame for soft topped lorry - has diagonal struts bracing sides and roof sections

The roll-over frame for a soft topped van, lorry etc. has diagonal struts included in the side sections, as well as over part of the roof section. This stiffens the frame and prevents distortion, if the vehicle rolls over. The frame is secured to the chassis by rapid fasteners to allow conversion to an open vehicle. The sides are stiffened by long diagonal struts (7) reaching to the floor of the vehicle. The top of the frame is stiffened in the two panels along the edges of the roof by shorter diagonal struts (5) to allow the middle of the frame to be free. The end loops (2) are reinforced by diagonals across the corners. The frame is of light weight and strong.
